F.A.Q.

So what exactly do you mean by ‘online posting?’

Online posting is a clean, simple, quick, and modern way to view wedding photos. Instead of confining clients to an album package they are able to log in and see all of the photos and all of the purchase options available. Free album design and free color conversions will be available from there. This is the best way to show friends and family pictures and also give the guests an opportunity to purchase photos as well.

How many photos should I expect?

The number of photos varies with the size of the wedding and the hours of coverage requested, but no moment is missed.

What makes you the wedding photographer for me?

I may not be. As previously said, every wedding, and every person, is unique. What I can offer is an education, professional training, experience, passion, flexibility, and a creative eye for detail. My work will express the romantic aspects, the hard decisions on everything from flowers to table cloths, the action of the dance floor, and the fleeting moments that a lot of people miss. Please meet with me to find out if I am, after all, the right one for you!

Do you shoot film?

I can shoot film on request. In general I do not as the capabilities of modern digital cameras are so vast that I do not find it cost efficient for either of us, or necessary. Traditional black and white photography can be requested with the use of an assistant.

What should I expect to spend on photography?

Wedding photography can cost anywhere from a few hundred dollars to the sky, but some good advice is to stray from both ends. Many people buy a nice camera and call themselves professionals, and you certainly don’t want to regret not spending a little extra money when your photos reflect that. The average cost is 10% of the wedding budget.

What kind of pictures will I get?

The images are taken in color and easily converted to black and white or sepia after the shooting occurs. There will be formals (controlled by a shot list so those go by quickly and the fun can start!) and candids. The candids will include moments and events as well as fun shots that combine to tell the story of your wedding.

How do I pay?

Lowcountry Focus Photography, llc, does not currently accept credit cards for the basic fee. Any other method of payment is okay. The prints bought through the website are paid by credit card.
A 15% deposit is required to book the date. The remainder of the balance is due on the day of the wedding before the photography begins.
